President Recep Tayyip Erdogan and Russian counterpart Vladimir Putin will meet on the sidelines of a regional meeting on Wednesday in Astana, the capital of Kazakhstan, a Turkish official told AFP.
Turkey enjoys solid ties with both of its Black Sea neighbors, Russia and Ukraine, and has maintained its neutral position during the turmoil in Ukraine.
