PARIS: Foreign Minister Catherine Colonna revealed on Tuesday that there are currently six French nationals detained in Iran, one more than had previously been reported by Paris.
“This afternoon, I’ll call with the Iranian foreign minister to once more urge the prompt release of every one of our countrymen detained in Iran. There are currently five,” she stated to France Inter radio. Four of Paris’ inhabitants were previously reported to be held captive in the Islamic republic.
