DUBAI: Yemen’s Houthi militia was accused on Friday of violating the UN-brokered truce 467 times in the last five days.
According to Yemen’s state news agency SABA, there were 122 violations in Hodeida’s Hais, 94 in Marib’s south, west, and north-west, 85 in Taiz, 82 in Barh, 51 in west Hajjah, 21 in Jawf warfronts, eight in Dhale, and four in Saadah.
Militia members have been accused of attempting to infiltrate military positions in Marib and along the western coast, as well as opening fire and shelling army positions across all warfronts.
According to reports, bomb-laden drones were also directed at army positions, killing 13 soldiers and injuring 27 others.
