Serikandi Oilfield Services Sdn Bhd and Kent PLC have inked a joint venture agreement in Brunei Darussalam.
Chairman and Managing Director Shaikh Khalid Shaikh Haji Ahmad and Executive Vice President of Asia-Pacific Operations Joseph McCormick, representing Kent PLC, signed on behalf of Serikandi. The signing took place at the Serikandi Corporate Office.
The venture aims to form an unparalleled Brunei-based project services company – “Global Expertise, Delivered Locally” delivering a strong Brunei-based engineering, procurement, and construction management (EPCM) capable organization by leveraging Serikandi’s local knowledge, assets, and infrastructure and Kent’s global expertise.
“This signing ceremony is the result of nine months of creating a solid relationship based on aligned aims and fundamental principles,” stated Revi Bhaskaran, CEO of Serikandi. This collaboration will help the industry flourish and provide additional chances for talent development in Brunei Darussalam.
