In a benevolent effort, the Kingdom’s humanitarian organization, KSrelief, has successfully distributed essential food aid to more than 9,600 individuals in Kosovo and Sudan, according to a report by the Saudi Press Agency on Tuesday.
In Sudan, the organization delivered 1,799 food parcels to displaced families in the White Nile State, while an additional 740 parcels reached vulnerable individuals in the River Nile State. This compassionate initiative represents the second phase of KSrelief’s ongoing food aid program, providing crucial support to communities affected by the ongoing strife in the region.
Simultaneously, KSrelief extended a helping hand to 350 families in Kosovo’s Hani i Elezit municipality as part of the third phase of the “Etaam” food basket project for 2024. This longstanding project, carried out annually during Ramadan, aims to address the nutritional needs of individuals facing economic challenges around the globe.
In Yemen’s Al-Mahrah governorate, KSrelief has ambitious plans to empower 50 families who have lost their primary breadwinner. The initiative involves training in various skills such as hairdressing, sewing, henna art, embroidery, as well as the production of perfume and sweets. The ultimate goal is to guide a total of 440 families towards self-sufficiency.
Additionally, KSrelief remains committed to supporting education by assisting 1,300 orphans, ensuring they have access to essential educational resources and opportunities for a brighter future.
