BEIRUT: One individual was killed in a US airborne operation involving numerous helicopters in Syria’s northeastern Hassakeh province on Thursday, according to Syrian state TV.
Syrian TV said, without going into further detail, that “US occupation forces carried out a landing operation utilizing numerous helicopters in… the southern countryside of Qamishli and murdered one individual.”
The Central Command of the US military told AFP that it presently had “no information to offer.”
