Jakarta – According to the National Police, the Interpol Yellow Notice issued for West Java Governor Ridwan Kamil’s son, Emmeril Kahn Mumtadz, or Eril, who went missing in Aare River, Bern, Switzerland, is still active (Polri).

It is reported that Kamil’s family announced that they had accepted God’s will. After a seven-day search, the family had returned to Indonesia.

“The Yellow Notice is not closed until the object is located, according to information from the National Central Bureau’s (NCB’s) Interpol,” said Inspector General Dedi Prasetyo, chief of the National Police’s public relations division, in Jakarta on Friday.

A Yellow Notice is a global police alert for someone who has gone missing. It is published for the benefit of victims of parental abductions, criminal abductions, or unexplained disappearances.

Meanwhile, Polri is continuing to monitor the case in collaboration with Swiss police and the local Indonesian Embassy (KBRI).

“Police are still monitoring Eril’s hunt alongside local police,” Prasetyo said.

Polri had previously stated that Interpol had issued a Yellow Notice for Eril.
