During the meeting, discussions revolved around recent developments in Sudan, with a primary focus on resolving the ongoing crisis in the country. Both leaders expressed their commitment to restoring stability in Sudan while safeguarding its sovereignty, unity, and institutional cohesion.

The President affirmed Egypt’s unwavering support in enhancing cooperation and ensuring the security of Sudan. El-Sisi pledged full support for Sudan’s political, security, and economic stability, emphasizing the importance of resolving conflicts and maintaining national unity.

The leaders also delved into regional issues, specifically addressing the situation in Gaza. El-Sisi and Al-Burhan jointly called for an immediate ceasefire and stressed the urgent need for humanitarian aid to reach Gaza.
