According to semi-official news media, Iran’s foreign ministry advised its people on Friday not to travel to Ukraine and asked Iranians living there to leave the country.
“Because of the military escalation in Ukraine, all Iranians are strongly warned to avoid traveling there.” Iranians living in Ukraine are also recommended to leave the country for their own safety, according to a ministry statement.
