Anies Gives Bonuses to PON XX and Peparnas XVI Athletes

Jakarta Governor Anies Baswedan officially handed bonuses to athletes and coaches who had excelled at the National Sports Week (PON) XX and the National Paralympic Week (Peparnas) XVI Papua.

The bonus is a form of appreciation for DKI athletes who have worked hard so that they succeeded in bringing the good name of DKI Jakarta from the national to international level.

“Today is a happy day for all of us, watching our athletes get the most out of their achievements. Behind the incredible hard work, we all witnessed the happy ending, the athletes who today received appreciation are those who get medals,” said Anies at the Bappeda Pattern Room, Jakarta City Hall, Monday (12/27/2021).

Anies advised all athletes to start thinking about investing in the results of achievements obtained so that it continues to be utilized, even growing.

“This is not just making the rupiah zero, but this is for the long term. It takes hard work to earn money, but it takes a culture and culture to use money,” Anies said.

Anies also advised that athletes are not quickly complacent, instead must be improved.

“This achievement is indeed worth being grateful for, but we must quickly set higher targets to be achieved,” he said.

Meanwhile, Head of Youth and Sports Office (Kadispora) of DKI Jakarta Province, Ahmad Firdaus explained, individual gold medal winning athletes received appreciation money of Rp 350 million per medal piece with details in accordance with Regulation No. 1591 of 2018, namely Rp 200 million from the DKI Jakarta Provincial Government, plus a rope of compassion from KONI DKI Jakarta as much as Rp 100 million, as well as additional proposals from KONI DKI Jakarta as much as Rp 50 million.

Then, individual silver medalists receive Rp 125 million per piece of medal with details, Rp 50 million from the Jakarta Provincial Government, ropes from KONI DKI Jakarta amounting to Rp 50 million, and additional proposals from KONI DKI Jakarta of Rp 25 million.

Meanwhile, for individual bronze medalists / individuals receive Rp 67.5 million per medal piece, with details of Rp 30 million from the Provincial Government of DKI, Rp 25 million from KONI DKI Jakarta, and Rp 12.5 million proposed additions from KONI DKI Jakarta.

Furthermore, for paired gold medalists (per athlete) receive Rp 350 million, with the same details as single/individual gold medalists. Silver medal amounted to Rp 125 million, and bronze medal amounted to Rp 67.5 million.

For the team gold medalists, trio, each quarter (per person) received a total per medal of Rp 212.5 million, with details of Rp 100 million from the Provincial Government of DKI, Rp 75 million from KONI DKI Jakarta, and Rp 37.5 million additional proposals from KONI DKI Jakarta.

Then, for the team silver medalists, trio, quarter per athlete receive Rp 62.5 million per piece of medal. Meanwhile, bronze medalists for the same category, each received Rp 37.5 million per piece of medal.

For coaches whose athletes won gold medals, will receive Rp 140 million per medal with details of Rp 60 million from the Provincial Government of DKI, Rp 40 million from KONI DKI Jakarta, and Rp 40 million additional proposals from KONI DKI Jakarta. If the athlete wins 5 gold medals, then there is a multiple (multiplied by the number of medals). For coaches whose athletes won silver medals received Rp 70 million and bronze medals received Rp 35 million.

Coaches for doubles /paired athletes who won gold medals, received an appreciation of Rp 128 million, silver medals rp 64 million, and bronze medals Rp 31 million. Then, team coaches whose athletes won gold medals, got Rp 155 million, silver medals Rp 77.5 million, and bronze medals got Rp 40 million.

Assistant coaches whose athletes won gold medals received Rp 90 million, with details from the Provincial Government of Rp 60 million, ropes from KONI DKI Jakarta Rp 20 million, and additional proposals of Rp 10 million. Followed by silver with a total of Rp 45 million, bronze Rp 27.5 million per piece of medal.

Furthermore, assistant coaches whose athletes won double gold medals will receive the same as singles, namely Rp 90 million for gold medals, Rp 45 million for silver medals, and Rp 27.5 million for bronze medals.

Meanwhile, for assistant coaches whose athletes won team gold medals, get Rp 70 million, silver medals Rp35 million, and bronze medals Rp1 9.5 million.

Furthermore, for athletes who do not win medals, along with their coaches and assistant coaches, will receive Rp 15 million, with details of Rp 7.5 million from the Provincial Government and Rp 7.5 million from koni DKI Jakarta.

For cabor who becomes the general champion will get coaching money in the form of ropes from KONI DKI Jakarta amounting to Rp 150 million and plus koni DKI proposal rp 150 million again. So, the general champion cabor will receive a coaching money of Rp 300 million. The amount received by PON XX/2021 Papua athletes is equal to that received by PEPARNAS XVI/2021 Papua athletes.

“In order to fully appreciate the hard work of sports people who participated in these events, the awards received, the taxes are borne entirely by the Jakarta Provincial Government,” said Ahmad Firdaus. (*)
