The Meteorology, Climatology, and Geophysics Agency (BMKG) issued an early warning of the potential for rain accompanied by lightning / lightning and strong winds in the east Jakarta and South Jakarta areas in the afternoon to late evening, Wednesday (12/29/2021).
“Be aware of the potential for rain accompanied by lightning / lightning and strong winds in the area of East Jakarta and South Jakarta in the afternoon to late evening,” bmkg wrote on its official website, Wednesday (12/29/2021).
BMKG said the weather forecast during the day, light rain occurred in West Jakarta and East Jakarta, lightning rain in South Jakarta, and cloudy sunny in Central Jakarta, North Jakarta, and Thousand Islands.
Then at night, the entire DKI Jakarta area is predicted to be cloudy. While in the early hours of the morning, light rain in the Thousand Islands and bright cloudy in West Jakarta, Central Jakarta, South Jakarta, East Jakarta, and North Jakarta.
As for the average day air temperature in Jakarta between 23-33 degrees Celsius with air humidity reaching 70-100 percent.
BMKG appealed to residents to be aware of the weather changes that occur. (*)
