“In addition, the circular requires PPLNs to have a body temperature of less than 37.5 degrees Celsius and to fulfill other health conditions,” the director general added.

Riyanto directed that the directors at the directorate general, as well as the heads of the airport authority offices, supervise the circular’s implementation.

“We will also work with the regional government, the military, the police, the airport task force, the port health office, allied ministries/institutions, and aviation stakeholders,” he said.

As a result of the implementation of the Circular Letter of the Transportation Minister Number 42 of 2022, the Circular Letter of the Transportation Minister Number 33 of 2022 has been cancelled and declared null and void.

According to the Circular Letter of the Transportation Minister Number 33 of 2022, there are seven entrance ports for PPLNs in Indonesia.
